For the past several years, our church in conjunction with Youthfront has been taking trips to Croc, Mexico to serve the people there who are less fortunate. Our main objectives were to build homes, help teach their children about God's love, and build relationships with people in the community.
In 2007, Glen made the trek to Croc and had an amazing experience that left him with a heart for the people there. He especially enjoyed playing with the kids and getting tromped in soccer by the local youth. Lynn has always had a passion for missions, and hopes to one day travel to Croc as well (and watch Glen get thumped in soccer).
Humberto and Myrtha Flores
Humberto and Myrtha Flores are a local couple in Croc, Mexico that are providing aide to families in the small city. They're new to the Youthfront staff, and are needing to raise support. Currently they are involved in:
- Tutoring the local children in after-school programs
- Starting marriage seminars to promote healthy marriages and families
- Offering family aid and counseling
